Peace

Dear Friends,
The great Easter gift that Jesus gave his forlorn community was the gift of peace. He said, "Peace be with you." If we had returned to a community that had abandoned us and betrayed us, and denied us, we might have been tempted to say: "Your services are no longer required." Jesus sticks with his own folk in this great Easter gift.
